Catch Up...

July and the start of August were rather busy months. I had appointments with my Oncologists and dental. My treatment has several side effects, one of which is calcium bone loss. So the dental check-up was necessary (ended up with having to go back a few times). The other side effects are shitty but... Good news is there is no sign of new growth at my surgery site. Still have to take daily medication but at least it's better than the alternative.

On the writing side - I've just completed the second round of edits for the next book. I rewrote An Author's Kiss and I think it's much better than the original released way back 10 years ago. I've changed bits, deleted a lot, and generally tightened up the story. I hope you like it when it is released.

I've three WIPs (actually I have a lot more than three but I'm working on three) on the go at the moment. The final book in the Silk Rope Masters series (book 7), a romance with a murder, and a sweet romance. There all around the 30-40k mark at present. As usual my heroes and heroines are all around their late 50s.

Got a few ideas for other books but atm they are just a few k of words jotted down in Scrivener so I don't forget them. I often wonder what I'd do without Scrivener - it's been the best investment I made in my writing career...lol.

I still have two books with my publisher - Book 6 of the Silk Rope Masters, and Elephants & Ever Afters - which will probably be released later this year or early next. Elephants is another rework of an old book which Evernight kindly accepted.
