This book was previously published in 2015. This edition has been re-worked/re-edited. Sections have been deleted, other added, the story generally tightened up to make a much better story.
I enjoyed this story, which is a romance this time with characters in their fifties. We're taken along by Gabe and Izzy. Their journey holds your attention and takes you along with them, with their insecurities, fears, suspense, romance, help, and many hot and steamy moments and exciting scenes.

I loved this book!
Once again Ms Shearer has shown she can write emotional scenes with fabulous characters. I love that she always has older heroes and heroines.
Issie and Gabriel have a rocky start because of her past. But Gabriel is persistent. There are ups and down and I grabbed the tissues at once point with my fingers crossed.
This book was a re-write of an old novel of hers and it is now a much better story. I highly recommend it and Ms Shearer's other books if you like your characters older.
AN ARTIST'S KISS is a steamy, mid-life romance. Issie is a former nude model in her 50s who has been hurt in the past. She now does sculpting. Gabriel "Gabe" would like her to pose for him, but she resists. He is persistent though. This was quite an emotional read with both characters working through a lot of emotional baggage. The chemistry was pure fire between these two and we got a happy ending after all of the angst. I loved it.
Issie used to be a nude model. Gabriel wants her to pose for him but she refuses. He doesn’t want to give up. The character in this book are full of depth and very well written. They are older and that aspect brings a different view point to how the book is written. Issie has issues from a past relationship and has sworn off men. Gabriel is bringing down all the barriers she has built. This was an enjoyable read with a unique storyline and a variation on the normal romance troupes.
