

A Fruitful Month...
Been a rather fruitful month. I finished the penultimate edit on the draft on Iain (the final Silk Rope Masters book). It's having its final readthrough with one of my Betas and then I'll do the last edit. I've also submitted Cookies & Crime - so the haunting of the email inbox has commenced for the next 3 months. I was going to go back and work on a couple of WIPs that are at about the half-way point. Instead, in the middle of night (as I often do) a couple of weeks back I h


Busy...
I finally completed the last book in the Silk Rope Masters series. I sent it off the beta readers and the response was fantastic. I'd gotten bogged down with it last month, it simple wasn't working. But then I had a midnight eureka moment and change a major plot. It meant re-writing a lot of the book but it ended up a more realistic story. Now I've gone through a few million edits...lol. Actually I'm doing to my final edit - the one where I listen to it being read. It's amaz


Grief...
I've been struggling. At the end of February I lost my wonderful boy - Zeus. It came as a shock, completely out of the blue. Within 6 days he was gone - kidney cancer. It was so wrong to lose him, he was still so young, 3 years. It hit me hard. I live alone and have always had cats and dogs as constant companions. Zeus was funny, lazy, adorable, and a big softie. It's getting easier to deal with each day and I will get back into writing. I simply haven't had the motivation to
