June update

It's been a crazy 5 months for me but I'm beginning to settle down into a more normal (normal for me) routine. My radiotherapy is all finished and I'm still recovering from the after effects but they are getting easier. I'm now onto a 5 year medicine course with a list of side effects as long as your arm. I'm hoping I only manage to get a few of them.

On the book side things are going well. Nico has been out for a couple of weeks and by the reviews coming in it seems people are enjoying reading it. It's so exciting when a book comes out but then when you get 5 star reviews it makes the whole writing exercise worthwhile.

Finally I've got the urge back to write, although I'm taking it slow. I've decided book 5 in the Silk Rope series is next on the agenda. I've pulled up what I've already written and now started at Chapter One going through it adding and subtracting. There is still a lot to actually write but I'm hopeful of having it finished in the next few months.

I've also made a start on book 6, haven't written much, about 10k, but I know where I want the story to go.

I'd like to take the time to say thank you to all those readers who've sent me emails giving me encouragement and support with my cancer. You all deserve a medal. Big, big, enormous, thank you!
